Victims of Violence: Surviving Parents SPA DAY!
Parents and family members that lost children to violence spent a wonderful afternoon of pampering at our Parent Support - SPA DAY! Surviving family members were able to unwind and relax their minds with fabulous massage, acupuncture, manicures, facials, Zumba dance and more! We are grateful for all of the parents who came out partake in the event.
We are especially grateful for the following vendors that provided revitalizing pro bono services: Alice Wozniak, Carmichia Saulsberry (Traci Lynn Jewelry), the Chicago Chapter of Parents of Murdered Children (POMC), Natasha Washington, Prince Edward Redmond, Stanley Hull, Steven Augustus (Salon Heaven), Tanesha Reed (and ALL of her helping hands who did our eyebrows, fingernails and eyelashes), Tenisha Wickerson (Zumba), Thomas Golden (Midwest College of Oriental Medicine), Glenda Franklin and to a host of wonder volunteers. WE THANK EACH OF YOU FOR HELPING TO MAKE OUR SPA DAY A SUCCESS! (Click to view photos)
