In Memory of Deontae Smith Picnic

Located at Ogden Park, 6500 South Racine Avenue, Chicago, IL

Sat , August 1, 2015 is the actual Day and Date on which Deontae was killed. Instead of making this a sad day his mother has chosen to make it a celebration of his memory. She will be there at 8:00 a.m in case someone decides they want to bring their grill and bar-b-que. She welcomes participants to bring their card tables and a chair.

Also, there is a spot to play softball, and a merry-go- round in the park. Bring your swimwear and towel, if you want the kids to get wet and socks for the jumping jack.
